About the Founder
L.H.L. Vos, founder and CEO of Vos Investment Groep NV, began his career after graduating from the High School for Economics and Administration (HEAO) in Sittard in 1982. With over 25 years of experience, Mr. Vos has built a substantial real estate portfolio across the Netherlands and Germany, guiding the firm with a Wise approach. Under his leadership, Vos Investment Groep NV has established itself as a trusted and stable investor, consistently aligning investments with long-term value and financial prudence.

Mr. Kaandorp graduated in Economics from the University of Maastricht and holds a Master of Real Estate from the University of Amsterdam. Before joining Vos Investment Groep NV in 2005, he held management positions at Bouwfonds and AM, leading real estate development and investment firms.
Mr. G.R.P. Loyson, Associate Director – Participations
A graduate in Law from the University of Leiden, Mr. Loyson worked as a real estate public notary in Amsterdam and founded his own notary firm in Maastricht before joining Vos Investment Groep NV in 2008.

We allocate around 80% of our investments to Germany and 20% to the Netherlands, focusing on opportunities that align with our commitment to consistent returns and stability. Every property we consider is evaluated for its ability to deliver positive cash flow and maintain its quality and value over time, ensuring that each investment supports the long-term strength of our portfolio.

We prefer to acquire properties that generate immediate positive cash flow while allowing for long-term holding, with careful attention given to location, property quality, and lease length. Often, we acquire properties directly from private owners, a process that requires patience but allows us to secure favourable terms and maintain the quality we expect. While our focus remains on long-term leases, we also consider selective short-term opportunities when there is a strong alignment between location and tenant quality.

In recent years, Vos Investment Groep NV has strategically shifted a significant portion of its investment activities to Germany, driven by a favourable balance between price and quality that aligns with our investment philosophy. We invest in both East and West Germany, with properties located in cities and smaller towns with a minimum population of 5,000 inhabitants. Former Plus Markt Sandersleben
Following the recent acquisition of Plus Germany, several of our supermarkets have transitioned into Netto or Penny Markets. The former Plus Markt in Sandersleben has now been transformed into a Penny Markt, presenting new opportunities for development. We have decided to expand the market's surface area and, at the same time, construct a second store on the property to house the local drink market alongside a third retailer. Plans and budgets for this project have been finalised, and we are in the process of closing the agreements to move forward.
Magdeburg Wittenbergerplatz
While our core business remains focused on supermarkets, this project in Magdeburg presented a unique opportunity. Located in the "Wissenschaftshafen" district near the university, the area is becoming a hub for new businesses and scientific research, supported by the city's redevelopment initiatives. We acquired this office building while it was vacant and, within a year and a half, successfully leased the entire property, turning an idle asset into a fully utilised space in a promising area.
Maastricht "De Blekerij"
This project reflects our passion for the profession and our commitment to preserving the character of the cities where we invest. "De Blekerij" once stretched along the river Maas until most of it was demolished to make way for the Kennedy Bridge. Vos Investment Groep NV is proud to own and preserve a piece of this historic cityscape. We acquired the building in a vacant and deteriorated condition, redeveloping the right side into exclusive residences, which have since been sold, while the left side was fully renovated and is now leased long-term to a bank. This project embodies our approach of blending heritage with responsible investment, creating lasting value for both the city and our portfolio.

This property reflects our ongoing commitment to preserving historic tradition within our portfolio. The former officer's mess is part of several monuments that Vos Investment Groep NV owns and maintains across the Netherlands. Strategically located within a redevelopment zone in the city of Almelo, the building stands as a characteristic landmark within its surroundings, blending heritage with potential for future growth. This project underlines our dedication to thoughtful investment while respecting the historical fabric of the communities where we invest.
